Description
The accreting millisecond X-ray pulsar (AMXP) IGR J17062–6143 was discovered in 2006 by INTEGRAL, with subsequent RXTE observations detecting a pulsation frequency of 163.65 Hz. To further characterize its long-term timing behavior, NICER conducted an extensive monitoring campaign comprising several observations between 2017 and 2022. This study focuses specifically on the analysis of high-resolution data obtained in 2021, implementing an iterative timing analysis to refine the source's spin and orbital parameters. By extrapolating orbital parameters from observation reports spanning 2017 to 2020, we compensated for orbital modulation, enabling a high-sensitivity periodic search via the Z-test. The resulting power spectrum reveals a prominent peak at 163.656111031(61) Hz. Following this detection, an iterative process was applied to further refine the spin and orbital parameters. These values will be adopted as initial parameters for a pulse arrival time delay analysis, ultimately yielding more precise spin and orbital parameter solutions for the system.
