DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Takaaki Kajita (Institute for Cosmic Ray Research\, 
 University of Tokyo)\n\nProfessor Takaaki Kajita is a Distinguished Univer
 sity Professor at the University of Tokyo and the former Director of the I
 nstitute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR). He was co-awarded the 2015 Nobel 
 Prize in Physics for the historic discovery of atmospheric neutrino oscill
 ations\, a breakthrough that fundamentally altered the Standard Model by p
 roving that neutrinos have mass. His pioneering work with the Kamiokande a
 nd Super-Kamiokande detectors has cemented his legacy in particle astrophy
 sics. Currently\, Professor Kajita serves as the Principal Investigator of
  the KAGRA gravitational-wave observatory\, continuing his leadership in t
