Getting to NTHU by bus and train
To reach NTHU one can take several local/long-distance buses and leave at the National Tsing Hua University (國立清華大學) bus stop. One can also take a train to the local (historical) train station of Hsinchu in the city center or the high-speed train station Hsinchu located in Zhubei and take a local bus from there. Note that local buses might require exact change or some form of e-money, like EasyCard or iPass.
Getting to NTHU by plane
The closest airport is Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) located in Taoyuan. From there one can take three different options to get to NTHU. Please check this link for details.
Local directions
The workshop will be held at NTHU in the Physics Building (物理系館). We have put below a campus map of NTHU. Note that in this map North is not at the top. NYCU, another big university, is also in very close proximity and there is a small walking path connecting the two campuses which is far more convenient than walking along Guangfu Rd. We have put a campus map of NTHU below with some important locations highlighted.
